getting started

install shareavideo, authenticate once, then record and upload directly from your terminal.

installation

$ brew install boudra/shareavideo/shareavideo

this installs both the desktop app and the shareavideo CLI.

authentication

run the login flow once on each machine. it opens a browser-based device authorization page.

$ shareavideo auth login

$ shareavideo auth whoami --json

record your first video

use interactive source selection, or pass explicit capture flags.

$ shareavideo record

upload and share

upload any local MP4 and get a public share link immediately. transcripts are generated asynchronously.

$ shareavideo upload demo.mp4
